In 2020 I trained to become a Subconscious Transformation Facilitator, after having experienced lots of personal shifts having been to a number of courses led by Laura Husson. When she said she was going to train facilitators I felt like it was something that had benefitted me so much I wanted to be able to learn more for myself and perhaps to benefit one or two other people.
During the training Laura taught us a number of techniques including ethical Neurolinguistic Programming, Time Techniques and Hypnosis that I use to facilitate others in releasing unwanted emotions or limiting decisions as well as in gaining clarity about what it is they really desire, gaining clarity about their values and in supporting them to identify and release old habits or stories that aren’t serving them anymore.

I have continued my journey of expansion when it comes to my coaching offering. I joined Dr Sarah Madigan’s Spectacular School in 2023 where she trains students to coach. Her style is different from Laura’s and different again from Joey Walters’ – who taught me about holding space.
It’s so interesting to look back and recognise that for a while I was in total resistance to joining Spectator School. A total classic example of a limiting belief I had! I was telling myself I didn’t want a coaching business (true!) and that I already knew a host of coaching techniques (also true!) so that having training as a Joy Movement Coach wasn’t something I desired (false!!)
It was when I attended of Sarah’s live events in 2023 that I sat up and wrote the price of Spectacular School down in my journal. I had no idea why I did that but I trusted the process. I know I make better decisions after sleeping on them. I didn’t let fact that I had had two previous calls with a Lead Coach about joining Spectacular School earlier that year and decided it wasn’t for me affect what I was feeling into then. Next day I knew I wanted to enrol! I was clear about my reason why… it was entirely for me!
I loved learning about how I could lean into the Freedom, Joy and Magic of life. It was a definite up levelling for me. I noticed the times and situations where I felt activated (aka triggered) and gifted different tools for coaching from the ones I had learned from Laura. My repertoire of techniques has grown and at the core, what is central is the individual I am coaching. Knowing that they have the key to unlock the answers within themselves and what I am doing is holding such a loving energy for them to recognise the key and go ahead and unlock their own wisdom. I am often coaching myself as I go about my daily life which is fun and I blooming love being able to coach other people. What a joy and an honour to witness their breakthroughs and transformations.
One of the many gifts of Spectacular School was that I found out a secret! I finally understood that I am able to trust my intuition! I learned that the magic lies in between the other person’s wisdom, my own and following my intuition during a session. I had already understood that the other person has all of their answers within themselves but somehow it landed even more fully during my Spectacular School experience.
Allowing myself to become an intuitive coach has been a huge aha experience for me. Previously I was giving my power away to my teachers and the tools and techniques that they taught me. I suddenly realised that I am combining all of my learning in a special mixture that is mine alone! When I practice Reiki I know I am not “doing” anything and that the Universal Life Force energy is flowing through me. I made the connection that when I am coaching someone I am there, grounding the experience, intentionally holding loving space for them and that I am not “doing” anything they are totally responsible for finding their own answers. When they do I’m there to celebrate with them there and then. It’s such a wonderful energy to be part of.
When I started coaching I asked clients to donate what they felt the value of their session was. I left the amount they donated entirely up to them and their personal circumstances. That was because I recognise that everyone doesn’t have access to the same amount of funds and in the same way I don’t have the energy to work in a traditional way. I was of the mindset that helping others was something I could do. I believe then, and still do now that it is absolutely right and good to express gratitude when we have received things and invited potential clients to speak with me about ideas if they did not have the finances to be able to reciprocate, or had limited funds and would like to partly ‘pay it forward’ in other ways.
I lovingly continue to offer a conversation where finances may feel stretched and I value the power of having coaching with me.
If someone was to ask the value of coaching the honest answer is it’s been priceless for me. I invite clients to attend with the energy that a single stand alone Intuitive Coaching session would cost £111 and a series of six sessions would be £555.
